Pay as much as you like for people to hate you.

February 28th, 2008 · No Comments · online, sites, social networking

Just been fooling around with an online picture editor called picnik and was nicely surprised by the loading graphic. Instead of the usual 74%…75%…yawn… The bar prepares you for a lovely picnic in the sun with birdsong and lashings of ginger beer.

You’ll notice that apart from a nifty little animation*, Let’s Get Together is fairly empty at the moment, well, that was always the [...]

Ever wondered who writes ‘View Blog’?

November 7th, 2007 · 661 Comments · copywriting, sites

Well, today it’s been me. I’ve been writing the error messages and instructional copy for a large corporate site. Only in America

September 16th, 2007 · No Comments · sites

Testimonial from site… Our 15 year old daughter Mary wasn’t very popular and did nothing but mope around the house bringing everybody down, so we [...]

Speech bubble hell

September 10th, 2007 · No Comments · design, sites

We’ve been working on a project about conversations and opinions and needed a logo. Our designer came up with a great solution using speech bubbles. Now I can’t stop seeing logos with speech bubbles in them. The logo works, the client’s happy. I feel dirty.

We say support She Says

August 22nd, 2007 · No Comments · advertising, online, sites

We’ve been saying it for weeks. Why aren’t there any female creative teams? The problem can’t be that men are born creative thinkers, or built better to cope with stress. She Says aims to change the digital landscape with the promise of attractive pay packets, private car parking spaces and buckets of champers at the [...]
