Other stars include Anna FarisMinnie DriverSimon BakerStephen Merchant and Olivia Colman. The entire audience has been asked to dress in their best wedding outfits for a reception at BFI Southbank after the screening, with special guests from the film.

The Closing Night Party at BFI Southbank will be the UK premiere of Movie 43, the year’s biggest Hollywood comedy, an all-star, R-rated sketch comedy epic created by the Farrelly brothers with an astonishing cast led by Halle Berry, Richard Gere, Naomi Watts, Kate Winslet, Anna Faris, Emma Stone, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Knoxville, Stephen Merchant, Chloë Grace Moretz and Uma Thurman.

More UK premieres of two hugely successful European films. The outrageous Danish comedy Klown, the top-grossing homegrown film of the year in Denmark. And Le Skylab is a delightful family comedy set in 1979 written, directed by and starring Julie Delpy.

The London Premiere of Gayby will introduce audiences to this lovely low budget film, acclaimed at SXSW, about a thirtysomething woman and her gay best friend who decide to have a baby together, and to make it happen the old-fashioned way.

And for family audiences, the 50th Anniversary Screening of The Pink Panther will be the perfect introduction to genius of Peter Sellers for a new generation, complete with a special School of Slapstick, where the kids will be able to dress up as Inspector Clouseau, learn the secrets of slapstick comedy and hunt for the missing Pink Panther diamond!

Oh, and did I mention The Ephrathon at The Lexi Cinema? Funny Far East at the Hackney Picture House? Including a special screening of the topical Chinese political satire UFO In Her Eyes introduced by writer-director Xiaolu Guo? More? How about the Kickstart your comedy career course? Phew!
