LoCo launches Submarine

April 19th, 2011 · No Comments · film, fun, music, people

Have you heard? We launched the brilliantly melancholic comedy ‘SUBMARINE’, at the Curzon Soho in March, complete with Q&A featuring the cast, Joe Dunthorne (he wrote the book) and Director Richard Ayoade. If you haven’t seen it already, go do so. It’s really good.

Before the screening we took Polaroids of the unsuspecting audience for a kissing and WTF?! mugshot gallery (if you’ve seen the film, you’ll understand). Goodie bags and sparklers added to the retro fun. There is also a beautiful limited edition LoCo screenprint commissioned for the event illustrated by the awesome Lizzy Stewart. Lots of nice things are already being said.

[Big love to The Impossible Project and The Photographers’ Gallery for the Polaroid stock and loan of the cameras, also to Vertical Productions for the fantastic edit and admitting their hand fetish, the Curzon Soho, moo-moo face, Optimum Releasing, Domino, Zoe @ EmFoundation and the lovely cast and crew]
